An original product and grand specialty of the Levant countries, “Makdous” is made of small eggplants stuffed with walnuts, chili and garlic. Prepared in autumn and preserved in oil, these eggplants are enjoyed all year round.
Served as an appetizer, Makdous is delicious with some bread aside.
