Carob Molasses Sfouf

Ingrédients

  • 200g of flour
  • 250g of carob molasses
  • 250ml of anise infusion with 2 cloves
  • 100ml of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of orange blossom water
  • Yeast
  • Sesame seeds


Procédure

  • Mix the flour and the yeast together in a bowl.
  • Add the cloves to the anise infusion.
  • Pour the vegetable oil into the bowl with the flour and yeast and continue mixing. Add the anise and clove infusion, then the molasses and orange blossom water.Mix until you get a homogeneous and smooth paste.
  • Pour the paste in a mould (square or rectangular) then sprinkle the sesame seeds on top.
  • Bake in the oven at 180⁰C for 30 min.
  • Let the cake cool, and then cut into squares. Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
