Manoucheh Zaatar

For 1 manoucheh

 

 

Ingredients:

 

For the dough: 

  • 160g flour
  • 3.5g salt  
  • 8g sugar   
  • 10 ml olive oil
  • 7 ml warm water  
  • 0.5g yeast   

 

For the garnish:

     

    Preparation:

     

    1. Sift flour, salt, sugar and mix. 
    2. Add olive oil.  
    3. Dissolve the yeast in a bowl of warm water, then add to the mixture.  
    4. Leave the dough to rest for 2 hours.   
    5. Sprinkle the work surface with flour and knead the dough.   
    6. Roll out and score the dough with your fingers to form hollows.   
    7. Mix zaatar and olive oil in a bowl.   
    8. Spread the zaatar mixture over the dough
    9. Preheat oven to 200°C. 
    10. Bake for 6 min.
