Orange blossom water is produced by water distillation of flowers from the bitter orange tree. Flower petals are gently boiled in water, and the aromatic steam is captured and condensed to produce this delicately flavored liquid.
The Emperor Napoleon’s favorite drink was white coffee, made with orange blossom water, sugar and hot water. In Lebanon, it is used in numerous oriental pastries, in milk puddings, fruit salads and it is drunk as white coffee.
Our orange blossom water has a beautiful floral and citrus flavor which adds a delicate fragrant taste to bakes. It is handpicked and distilled in West Bekaa by a small-scale producer highly committed to sustainability.
